The Elinchrom ELC 125 is a studio flash that is easy to use thanks to advanced technology. An excellent choice for portrait photography in the photo studio or home studio. The ELC 125 has TTL automation with memory when switching to manual control, High Speed ​​Sync (HSS), Smart fan control, Auto-On, LED setting light and compatibility with Elinchrom's wide range of light shapers.

Two versions - ELC 125 and ELC 500

Elinchrom ELC is available in two versions with different maximum brightness. The ELC 125 is ideal for portrait photography, couple photography and product photography. The ELC 500 has a higher output, which makes the flash suitable also for larger objects such as e.g. team photography and interior shots.

Successful results immediately with TTL 

Turn on the flash and take the picture! The ELC 125 has inspiring TTL automation that gives the right exposure from the first shot. Once you have placed the main light and fill flash in the desired position, you can switch to manual mode to add your personal touch to the lighting. The exposure value from TTL mode is saved when switching to manual flash control, which allows you to easily make personal adjustments. For TTL function, Transmitter Pro adapted to camera brand is required (Transmitter Pro purchased separately).

Balance the light with High Speed ​​Sync, HSS

Flash photography with ELC is limitless thanks to the ability to freely choose the combination of aperture, ISO number and shutter speed on the camera. Regardless of whether the ambient light consists of a candle or direct sunlight, the photographer can balance the flash so that the image gets the right mood. With a long shutter speed on the camera, a mild ambient light can contribute to the mood of the image and with a fast shutter speed, all the way down to 1/8000 sec, a harsh sunlight can be subdued to act as a fill light while the ELC is the main light.

Freeze movement with Action or HSS

There are several possibilities to reproduce a fast sequence of events razor-sharp with Elinchrom ELC. With HSS, shutter speeds down to 1/8000 sec can be used and with the Action function, the ELC 125 has the shortest burning time of 1/7750 sec (t0.1).

AUTO ON

Elinchrom ELC automatically stores the last exposure value so you can immediately start shooting after an interruption. With the Auto On function, the flash starts immediately when the flash is connected to a power source. Perfect for mounting in e.g. ceiling system when the flash is connected to the studio's main switch.

Smart Pro-Active Cooling

A built-in fan system ensures that the flash maintains the correct temperature. Elinchrom's Smart Pro-Active Cooling learns your shooting pace and adapts cooling to avoid disruptive interruptions. The fan only starts when needed and the speed is automatically regulated by Smart Pro-Active Cooling.

LED setting light - video light

Lighting with the Elinchrom ELC is easy thanks to the bright LED setting light that shows shadows and reflections on the subject. The color temperature of flash light and setting light match each other, which opens up creative photography when shooting with slow shutter speeds. The LED light can be adjusted in strength and delivers up to 3000 Lumen with CRI 92.
